That is far out.
“Here, make your own. We’ll help.”
And yes, this does have applications for those toiling in the fiefdoms of church culture. I think that culture is changing, for the better, but this is still a nice analogy.

Big and established, sharing resources (and customers), with smaller unknowns, to help them through hard times. Would my church do that for your group if you needed some help? I hope we would, but…

Apparently Sam Adams knows the Benjamin Franklin truth – Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. They are helping spread the love.
I think that often we Christians need examples like this to
1) remind us of how we should be acting, and/or
2) show that Christians don’t have a monopoly on doing the decent thing. I sometimes find that Christians discount good deeds that are not done explicitly under a Christian banner.
